Brian, a graduate of The University of Dayton, is the founder of WOOMER Insurance & Financial Services. He started the agency from scratch in 1998. From the beginning, the agency was committed to be an Independent Agency. The advantages of being Independent are many. But most importantly, Brian wanted to offer choices. The agency is aligned with only the best insurance carriers available, therefore, our customers have the best solutions for all of their personal and/or commercial insurance & financial needs.
Professionally, Brian has been involved or held board positions with the following organizations: Independent Agents of NC, Rotary International, Kiwanis Club, Raleigh Chamber, Apex Chamber, Holly Springs Chamber, Park & Recreation, and the Triangle YMCA. Personally, Brian is married and has 2 boys. He enjoys Fishing, Golf, Ice Hockey and many outdoor activities.
Kelly English
Kelly has been at the agency since 1986. She is a native of Apex, North Carolina. For the past 12 years, Kelly has been the Manager of our Personal Lines of Insurance.
Kelly has quite a history with some of her clients and they trust her judgment and recommendations when renewing their policies.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, sports and being outdoors.
Barbara Guilliams
Barbara is a graduate of Adelphi University, earning a degree in Economics. She has 16 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
She strives to exceed your expectations with her positive attitude, knowledge of the industry, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and traveling abroad.
Missy Bennett
Missy, a North Carolina native, has lived in Pittsboro since 2000. She earned her insurance license in 2021 after a 23-year career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is excited about this new chapter in her life and looks forward to providing you with exceptional service for many years to come.
In her free time, Missy enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years, two beautiful daughters, labradoodle Rosie, and reading a good book!
Michele Boorsma
Michele Boorsma joined the WOOMER Insurance Team in August 2010. She is the lead Commercial Agent/CSR. Michele additionally has 13 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance.
Michele will take extra steps to make sure coverage is complete and available for all aspects of their business. She stays connected with her clients to adapt policies to match business fluctuations.
Michele is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters. She enjoys the beach, UFC, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
